I want to order labels - what should I do?

Do you have minimum order quantity?

No. Our wide range of processes mean we can supply any quantity you specify.

What is your standard lead time?

Normally 10 working days from receipt of approved artwork and purchase order. However, our digital presses enable us to produce work to very tight deadlines; so if you have an urgent requirement just let us know.

What should I do if I don't know which labels will work the best for me?

Give us a call at (510) 249-1350 and speak to someone from our Customer Service Team about the end use of your label and they will advise you on suitable solutions.

What is the best way to send artwork to you?

By email. Give us some details about your job attach the file to your email and we will contact you to discuss your label requirements.

Can you design a label for me?

I need specialized labels. Can you print them for me?

Yes. Our wide range of presses mean we can supply any type of labels needed. Please call our Customer Service Team at (510) 249-1350 to discuss your requirements.

How long does it take to receive a quote?

Once we have received your request for quote, you should receive a quote in no more than one business day. Our Bradley Sales Team strives to reply to quotes in less than one hour.

When should I expect to see a proof after placing my purchase order?

You can expect to see a proof within 2 business days after placing your purchase order.

Do you have any kind of UL approval?

Yes. We are approved to PGDQ2 standard, which allows us to print in the UL logo as well as supplying labels to customers whose products are certified. Visit our UL page for more info.

Do you sell labels off the shelf?

No. All our labels are printed to order. We will hold stock for specific customers depending on trending terms etc.

Can you cut shape label?

Yes. We have hundreds of dies in stock for each of our printing presses. If we do not carry a die for the size or shape of label you require we can order one within 24 hours.

Will you make a prototype?

Yes. By utilizing the latest digital technology. A custom prototype can be made available. Contact our Customer Service Team at (510) 249-1350.

What kind of labels do you produce?

Can you print on any self-adhesive material?

Yes, almost all. However, some very thick materials will not run through our presses.

Can I use a label on any surface?

Some surfaces require specific types of material and adhesive so it is best to check first with our Customer Service Team at (510) 249-1350.

Can I have a label which can be easily removed?

Yes. You can request to have labels printed on removable material which is designed to remain on the product as long as intended.

Can you produce waterproof labels?

Yes. However, testing is recommended.

How should I store my labels?

Labels should be stored at 68-72°F and at 50-55% humidity. Rolls should be stored horizontally, not vertically, and should not be in direct sunlight or close to heating sources. A 'first in, first out' stock rotation system is recommended.

What shelf life will my labels have?

18 months from the day of material manufacture, when stored according to the recommended conditions.

Can you print sequentially numbered labels?

What is the maximum number of colors you can print on a label?

The maximum number of colors varies from press to press. Please call our Customer Service Team at (510) 249-1350 to find out more.

Can I change my mind after placing the order and approving artwork?

Yes. But be quick. If you want to make changes after placing your order and approving artwork contact our Customer Service Team immediately to check if your order has been printed. There may be a chance that your labels have not been printed yet. However, some costs may have been incurred so the quicker you act the better.

Can you deliver labels overseas?

Yes. If you require delivery overseas please contact our Customer Service Team at (510) 249-1350 to check the cost; or you can provide your company’s shipping account to be used.

We have been proudly supplying labels for over 35 years from within the Silicon Valley, California, USA.
